  1. Sorting emails by sender

Sorting emails by sender is, own my opinion, a basic function of every email client. It helps to sort through emails quickly and clear unwanted emails or move them to folders. I find it amazing that Canary Mail does not have this feature. It is also noted that Canary Mail's own website promotes sorting emails by sender (https://canarymail.io/blog/manage-and-organize-emails/): 'Group by the sender: Another way to organize your inbox is by grouping messages from specific senders together. This can be particularly useful if you work with a lot of different people and want to quickly find messages from a particular colleague or client.' So, why is this function not there?

  2. Add a button for translating incoming emails.

It is easy to translate outgoing emails, but there is no option to translate incoming ones. Can you add this function?

  3. Mail limit > 400

Just found out the Canary Mail only shows the last 400 mails per account... I really think this a no-go (at least for the desktop app), so I want at least an option to see/download/cache all mails to my computer...

  4. Email Search engine: search "from:mario", "from:xxx@mail.com"...

As it is a standard on email clients, along the day we need to retrieve a communication from someone of from a subject. so usually we do a search using keywords, like "from: mario" and I will see all emails listed that were sent by mario, or I write "to:xxx" and I see all emails sent to xxx...or even by subject, "subject:xxx". and I can read all emails from xxx subject. this is key to work efficiently.

  5. "✓ " Read receipts icon shown in message - with each email address separately.

Please add "✓ Read" in the correspondence window next to each email address (To: - Cc: - Bcc: ) separately.

  6. Add an "Unsubscribe" shortcut

For some reason there's no "Unsubscribe" option in the "Messages" menu for Canary. (See "Canary Messages Menu" screenshot attached) Also, under Settings > General > Shortcuts there is no option to set a shortcut for "Unsubscribe" (See "Canary Settings - Shortcuts" screenshot attached) Please add this feature as it will make it so much quicker/easier to Unsubscribe. When I'm working through emails, I have the "E" key set to "Archive" and the "W" key set to "Delete" and I would like to just as easily hit a key with my left hand, instead of having to use the trackpad/mouse to go click the triple dot menu, and then hit the "Unsubscribe" link.

  7. Mail Translator

Hello! You have a very good application, an unusual idea, a lot of useful functions and I really like it! It would be great if your mail application could translate emails from one language to another (inside the application, not to switch to another application). I also noticed that many emails have borders, is it possible to stretch the text, reduce the indentation on the left and right so that it is convenient to read on the phone? Now in the mobile application, the text on the left and right recedes strongly from the edges of the screen, which is not easy to read.

  8. Multiple Flags (categories)

I am an Independent Contractor and this would make Canary Mail a usable app for me. Apple Mail and MS Outlook allow the use of multiple colored flags (in Mac OS Mail) or Categories (in Outlook). This is an important feature for me to organize my mail across different projects/timelines. This is an important feature that I look for in any Mail App, please consider adding this feature to Canary Mail.

  9. Real time sync

Spark syncs in real time. Canary doesn't. Spark performs despite how many connections I am running. Canary starts failing if I open one more mail software, besides Canary. Do you have plans to fix it? It's also quite crazy that checking new email at times takes a couple of minutes. After sending out an email to myself I can see that the unread email number next to the Inbox changes, but the new email doesn't show up in the mailbox. That's really poor product stability.

  10. Full-screen message viewing on iPad

Want option to be able to read individual emails full-screen on iPad (like on iPhone) vs. split-screen with the list of emails. Long, text-heavy emails hard to read on iPad half-screen, especially b/c no apparent way to adjust font size. I'm trying out Canary as Spark alternative and liking what I see so far...but if not fixed, this may be a deal-breaker.

  11. Remove red PRO Status Banner

At the end of the trial period, if decided not to upgrade, the red banner promoting PRO should disappear from the side menu.

  13. Remove "Upgrade Now" for Lifetime Plan Holders

For those who have paid for the Lifetime Plan (at least for me) the "Upgrade Now" message is always on display when I select the Canary Pro menu. Can we get this removed for Lifetime Plan members?

  14. change the Standard Browser from Safari, Chrome or Built-In to some more private one like DuckDuckGo

Hello Being able to change the Standard Browser from Safari, Chrome or Built-In to some more private one like DuckDuckGo's solution would be cool... or just a setting to use the system defaults browser instead of the built in would be cool. Kind regards Hubi

  15. Add a button to convert a mail into a meeting in calendar

When a mail suggest a meeting with date and place it would be practical to have a button to convert it into a meeting in the calendar.
