  1. Ability to create MS Teams & Google Meet online meeting invite directly from calendar

Many service provider (including EM Client, Super Human & Outlook) have this feature of creating direct meeting link from calendar. Please integrate the same.

  2. Will you make a Linux vertion of this wonderful email program?

There are many people using Linux, it would be convenient to have the crossover, between say, android and Linux, as there is with Windows and Canary mail.

  3. Add a button for translating incoming emails.

It is easy to translate outgoing emails, but there is no option to translate incoming ones. Can you add this function?

  5. "✓ " Read receipts icon shown in message - with each email address separately.

Please add "✓ Read" in the correspondence window next to each email address (To: - Cc: - Bcc: ) separately.

  6. Account Colour Prominence

Showing account colours only adds a very thin bar the the side of the email in the inbox. It doesn’t really help that much. I’d like to see this bar a bit bigger and in the left hand side next to the avatar to increase visibility.

  7. Apple’s Reminder integration

Congrats re: integrations. This is game changer. Can we expect an integration with Apple’s Reminder anytime soon? Also, this would be awesome to have integrations options in swipes for quicker access/process. Best

  8. Hide email accounts from unified inbox

I have multiple accounts that I use mostly for spam and registering for accounts I'm not gonna use much - I don't want to see their emails in my main inbox as they're usually not what I'm interested in, but I'd still like quick access to them (which is why I have them added in Canary)

  9. Absolute date / time on read receipts

Currently the date is in relative format in the read receipt list such as "22h ago" or "5d ago". While it's short, it's not very helpful and once it's over 24 hours, the time information is lost. I'd like to see "13 Dec 09:55" so I know when exactly the email was read. At least there should be a tooltip with the full date and time when hovering over the line on desktop or tap on mobile.

  10. Improvment of text formatting: highlight and strikethrough

Would be great to be able to highlight text and style it as strikethrough. Already in other email applications. Thenks

  11. Ability to make font larger for plain text compose

It would be helpful for my old eyes to be able to compose plain text using a larger font. I understand being plain text the larger font is not presented to the recipient. This is just to make it easier to read while writing plain text emails. I can easily make emails larger while reading them -- but it would be nice to have them larger while writing them also.

  12. Detailed read receipts

Read Receipts are currently very basic. It would be nice to be able to see the date and time someone opened your email and how many times they opened an attachment and opened your email. Similar to Canary’s competitor, Polymail. This is super important, particularly for legal applications when serving documents by email, or other times when receipt of an email may be in dispute.

  13. Emails

Hi Canary Mail Team, I’m currently using Canary Mail and overall I really like the service. It feels modern, clean, secure and much nicer than many standard email apps. A few suggestions that would make the app even more useful, especially for business users: Smarter inbox sectionsIt would be helpful to have stronger automatic inbox sorting, similar to Focused / Other, VIP, Clients, Invoices, Newsletters, Follow-ups, etc. This would make busy inboxes much easier to manage. Better server/cloud sync across devicesRules, snoozes, reminders, templates, signatures, aliases and read-receipt preferences should ideally sync perfectly across iPhone, Mac, Windows and web, so the experience feels the same everywhere. Stronger follow-up systemA proper follow-up dashboard would be very useful — for example: “waiting for reply”, “opened but not replied”, “follow up in 3 days”, and automatic reminders for important emails. Shared inbox / team featuresFor business users, it would be useful to assign emails to team members, leave private internal notes, share drafts, and track who is dealing with what — especially for info@, sales@, support@ or property-management emails. Better email rules and sender controlsMore powerful rules would help: sort by sender, domain, keyword, attachment type, invoice, quote, booking, urgent, etc. A simple “always move this type of email here” button would be excellent. Secure sending optionsIt would be useful to have options like expiry dates, revoke access, passcode-protected emails, or “do not forward/download” controls for sensitive business emails. Improved search and attachment findingA stronger search system would be very helpful — search by attachment name, PDF, invoice, sender, date range, unread, replied/not replied, and emails with no response. Calendar and meeting integrationBeing able to create Teams / Google Meet invites directly from the email/calendar flow would make Canary much stronger for business users. In simple terms, Canary already looks and feels good. The biggest improvement would be making it feel less like just an email app and more like a proper business communication control centre — organised, synced, secure, and easier to follow up from. Thanks for listening, and I hope some of these ideas help.

  15. To do

Add a button to do (like the starred one). When the email is processed, there is already the menu "Archive"
