Currently when attaching an image to an email, the image takes up the full width of the email email, often resulting in massive pictures, particularly on portrait format pictures. It would be nice to have the option to change the size of the image.

It is easy to translate outgoing emails, but there is no option to translate incoming ones. Can you add this function?

Out of office replies would be very useful when OOO. This is an important feature for those using Canary for work.

Please provide us with an option to search only by folder. Example: If I want to search the sent box only for email xxx@gmail.com, I should be able to do that. As of now, we cannot do it as it is pulling results from all emails and all folders.

Currently when attaching an image inline, its aspect ratio is altered in order to fill the screen. This really shouldn't happen in my opinion as it skews the image, making it appear quite odd. As best I can tell, there's no way to avoid it. I realize there's another request to manually adjust the image size, which is one potential way of dealing with the issue. This request instead addresses the underlying problem. I will trust the developers to come up with the best way to fix it!

Many service provider (including EM Client, Super Human & Outlook) have this feature of creating direct meeting link from calendar. Please integrate the same.

It would be easier to identify unread emails in the inbox if they were highlighted rather than indicated by just a blue dot.

Need to have the option of storing your emails on your mac folder in the email app or computer not on the server for storage offline use and have the email stored in the industry standard .eml files

The ability to select Preview Pane visible, ability to turn Off. A basic feature of Apple Mail, Outlook, etc. Nice feature to avoid having an email contents on screen and improves reading the Inbox emails with additional screen space.

Add “Forward as Attachment” to Canary Mail to send emails as .eml files, preserving full headers, formatting, and metadata. Essential for professionals who need the original message intact—support teams troubleshooting issues, legal teams keeping records, or security teams analyzing phishing. A one-click option in the forward menu should attach one or multiple emails exactly as received. Best use case: sending a suspicious email to IT for analysis without alteration.

Hey, I like the smart inbox categories for my unified inbox, however, a lot of emails that I consider primary end up in 'promotions'. It would be great if I could move them to the primary list, so the AI can also get better at sorting my emails and contacts.

Blocking remote content and only allowing Whitelisted addresses show remote content automatically is a very useful function. Adding email addresses to the Whitelist is very cumbersome though! Having to copy the email address, go into Settings, find the Whitelist button, create a new entry and then paste in the email address is very tiresome - especially on a new setup where you need to lots of emails to the Whitelist. Various options are available (Block, Copy Address, New Email etc) are available from the address drop-down in the preview pane, why not just add an option to add to Whitelist here?

When blocking a domain in the format xxx.yyy.com (or zzz.xxx.yyy.com), I am requesting the option to block its super domain yyy.com. The chances that there's another sub domain of yyy.com that I DON'T want to block are pretty low!

Currently it's not possible to view non-inline attachments while composing an email. I need to quickly double check the contents of all attachments before sending (almost always a single-page PDF). The only way to do this currently, as best I can tell, is to save it as a draft, go to the drafts folder, view the attachment in the draft, the open it again (in compose mode) to send it. Canary is the only email service/app I'm aware of where this is not possible. (Otherwise, it's pretty slick!)

Current the whole email window would be brought to the foreground which is quite unnecessary. I wish it can be changed to only show the draft window so I can get back on my work immediately after finishing sending the email.
