Show Full Email Addresses for Phishing Protection
To help combat phishing, I would like to have full email address visible all the time, not just the "friendly name". It's too easy to be lulled into a sense of security without seeing the full email address.

Make canary smarter like Spark mail
To divided mails at the top the mail box, and pins and seen, itβs easy to check the mails, also show the numbers of the inbox and pins each at the bottom of the mail, please refer to Spark.

Within Canary, display badge next to each mailbox displaying the total number of messages within that mailbox.

Out of Office Responder
Out of office replies would be very useful when OOO. This is an important feature for those using Canary for work.

"β " Read receipts icon shown in message - with each email address separately.
Please add "β Read" in the correspondence window next to each email address (To: - Cc: - Bcc: ) separately.

Appleβs Reminder integration
Congrats re: integrations. This is game changer. Can we expect an integration with Appleβs Reminder anytime soon? Also, this would be awesome to have integrations options in swipes for quicker access/process. Best

Disable the calendar or use the system default
It would be nice to be able to disable the integrated calendar to instead use the system default calendar.

Add an "Unsubscribe" shortcut
For some reason there's no "Unsubscribe" option in the "Messages" menu for Canary. (See "Canary Messages Menu" screenshot attached) Also, under Settings > General > Shortcuts there is no option to set a shortcut for "Unsubscribe" (See "Canary Settings - Shortcuts" screenshot attached) Please add this feature as it will make it so much quicker/easier to Unsubscribe. When I'm working through emails, I have the "E" key set to "Archive" and the "W" key set to "Delete" and I would like to just as easily hit a key with my left hand, instead of having to use the trackpad/mouse to go click the triple dot menu, and then hit the "Unsubscribe" link.

Format - font size and font type in message
π€π» Hi Change the possibility of changing the font size to the same system as macOS. This is the same case with font selection.

Full-screen message viewing on iPad
Want option to be able to read individual emails full-screen on iPad (like on iPhone) vs. split-screen with the list of emails. Long, text-heavy emails hard to read on iPad half-screen, especially b/c no apparent way to adjust font size. I'm trying out Canary as Spark alternative and liking what I see so far...but if not fixed, this may be a deal-breaker.

Change font for viewing emails
The font when viewing email is different than the font when composing email (I prefer sending emails using Arial font for example). If itβs possible to change the default font when viewing emails (on the right side of the screen) that would be great to match the same font when I compose emails. It would make the interface look better and more streamlined to keep the font consistent. I know itβs possible to change the font when composing emails but not for viewing emails. Thank you.

Integrate a full AI assistant like ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok.
Canary already has basic AI features, but a proper conversational assistant would significantly boost productivity. Iβd like to draft replies, summarize threads, and ask context-aware questions β just like I can in ChatGPT. Bonus if it supports multiple models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral).

Customize the layout of the interface
Some people like to see email content below the topic. Others like to see it beside the topic. Users should have the power to customize how the email information is presented.

Sorting emails by sender
Sorting emails by sender is, own my opinion, a basic function of every email client. It helps to sort through emails quickly and clear unwanted emails or move them to folders. I find it amazing that Canary Mail does not have this feature. It is also noted that Canary Mail's own website promotes sorting emails by sender (https://canarymail.io/blog/manage-and-organize-emails/): 'Group by the sender: Another way to organize your inbox is by grouping messages from specific senders together. This can be particularly useful if you work with a lot of different people and want to quickly find messages from a particular colleague or client.' So, why is this function not there?
