Multiple Flags (categories)
I am an Independent Contractor and this would make Canary Mail a usable app for me. Apple Mail and MS Outlook allow the use of multiple colored flags (in Mac OS Mail) or Categories (in Outlook). This is an important feature for me to organize my mail across different projects/timelines. This is an important feature that I look for in any Mail App, please consider adding this feature to Canary Mail.

Auto Wrap Text When Resizing Window or Changing Zoom
It would be helpful to have the text in the reading window auto wrap when the window is either resized or when the zoom level is changed in lieu of having to use the horizontal scroll bar to read emails.

Will you make a Linux vertion of this wonderful email program?
There are many people using Linux, it would be convenient to have the crossover, between say, android and Linux, as there is with Windows and Canary mail.

Email Search engine: search "from:mario", "from:xxx@mail.com"...
As it is a standard on email clients, along the day we need to retrieve a communication from someone of from a subject. so usually we do a search using keywords, like "from: mario" and I will see all emails listed that were sent by mario, or I write "to:xxx" and I see all emails sent to xxx...or even by subject, "subject:xxx". and I can read all emails from xxx subject. this is key to work efficiently.

Apple’s Reminder integration
Congrats re: integrations. This is game changer. Can we expect an integration with Apple’s Reminder anytime soon? Also, this would be awesome to have integrations options in swipes for quicker access/process. Best

Show Full Email Addresses for Phishing Protection
To help combat phishing, I would like to have full email address visible all the time, not just the "friendly name". It's too easy to be lulled into a sense of security without seeing the full email address.

Choose image size for attachements
I like the Spark feature where you can attach images to an email but then choose at the bottom in what resolution the images are submitted, from low, middle, to high, and to original. That would save a lot of time and is definitely a feature I miss greatly because now I have to pre-reduce image sizes before sending them by email, which is quite inconvenient.

Out of Office Responder
Out of office replies would be very useful when OOO. This is an important feature for those using Canary for work.

Set default fonts
I want to set fixed default fonts in my program so I do not have to change in every outgoing mail.

Folders management
Please, implement drag-and-drop folder management. Folder management is problematic.

Account Colour Prominence
Showing account colours only adds a very thin bar the the side of the email in the inbox. It doesn’t really help that much. I’d like to see this bar a bit bigger and in the left hand side next to the avatar to increase visibility.

Sorting emails by sender - but do it right
This is a duplicate of https://roadmap.canarymail.io/board/sorting-emails-by-sender This was originally submitted by John on 7 Apr 2023 (!!!) The website reference was checked and content still describes this vaporware. This functionality was NOT shipped. Not that it makes a difference because clearly they don't care about users' requests, but here is a replacement to upvote. Make it easy to sort by sender - even native Apple Mail does this easily within the UI. Original text: Sorting emails by sender is a basic function of every email client. It helps to sort through emails quickly and clear unwanted emails or move them to folders. I find it amazing that Canary Mail does not have this feature. It is also noted that Canary Mail's own website promotes sorting emails by sender (https://canarymail.io/blog/manage-and-organize-emails/): 'Group by the sender: Another way to organize your inbox is by grouping messages from specific senders together. This can be particularly useful if you work with a lot of different people and want to quickly find messages from a particular colleague or client.' So, why is this function not there? Here are some other requests that have been made: 20 Oct 2024 https://roadmap.canarymail.io/b/90p891vj/feature-ideas/shorting-email-by-sender 19 Jun 2024 https://roadmap.canarymail.io/b/90p891vj/feature-ideas/group-emails-by-sender 10 Jan 2024 https://roadmap.canarymail.io/b/90p891vj/feature-ideas/sort-emails-by-sender-receiver-date-attachment-flags-etc

Persona for AI Copilot
Make it possible to personalize the AI Copilot by customizing its name, role, and the rules and instructions it follows. For example, you can create the following rule: Your name is Jon. You are a professional Financial Advisor. Start your response with a friendly greeting using the recipient's name (e.g., "Hi [Name],").Thank them for their inquiry (e.g., "Thank you for reaching out about your investments.").Provide tailored financial insights related to their specific questions, referencing the knowledge base for accurate information.Invite further questions (e.g., "Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.").End with a professional sign-off (e.g., "Best regards, Jon").

Knowledge Base for AI Copilot
As a small business owner, you often get the same questions from potential clients. It would be great to create a personal Knowledge Base for AI Copilot, so AI can pull up useful information from that base and include it in response emails. Here are some common questions for a Financial Advisor: What are your hours and contact number? What services do you offer to help manage my finances? How do you charge for your services? Is it a flat fee, hourly rate, or commission-based?How can you help me with retirement planning? Of course, you can spend hours crafting personalized responses to each question for every client. But why not let the AI Copilot do this for you? It can easily pull the information from the Knowledge Base you set up with your own notes, text files, etc. Meanwhile, you can focus on what you do best—making money!
