Currently when attaching an image to an email, the image takes up the full width of the email email, often resulting in massive pictures, particularly on portrait format pictures. It would be nice to have the option to change the size of the image.

It is easy to translate outgoing emails, but there is no option to translate incoming ones. Can you add this function?

Out of office replies would be very useful when OOO. This is an important feature for those using Canary for work.

Please provide us with an option to search only by folder. Example: If I want to search the sent box only for email xxx@gmail.com, I should be able to do that. As of now, we cannot do it as it is pulling results from all emails and all folders.

It would be easier to identify unread emails in the inbox if they were highlighted rather than indicated by just a blue dot.

The ability to select Preview Pane visible, ability to turn Off. A basic feature of Apple Mail, Outlook, etc. Nice feature to avoid having an email contents on screen and improves reading the Inbox emails with additional screen space.

Blocking remote content and only allowing Whitelisted addresses show remote content automatically is a very useful function. Adding email addresses to the Whitelist is very cumbersome though! Having to copy the email address, go into Settings, find the Whitelist button, create a new entry and then paste in the email address is very tiresome - especially on a new setup where you need to lots of emails to the Whitelist. Various options are available (Block, Copy Address, New Email etc) are available from the address drop-down in the preview pane, why not just add an option to add to Whitelist here?

When blocking a domain in the format xxx.yyy.com (or zzz.xxx.yyy.com), I am requesting the option to block its super domain yyy.com. The chances that there's another sub domain of yyy.com that I DON'T want to block are pretty low!

Currently it's not possible to view non-inline attachments while composing an email. I need to quickly double check the contents of all attachments before sending (almost always a single-page PDF). The only way to do this currently, as best I can tell, is to save it as a draft, go to the drafts folder, view the attachment in the draft, the open it again (in compose mode) to send it. Canary is the only email service/app I'm aware of where this is not possible. (Otherwise, it's pretty slick!)

Currently when attaching an image inline, its aspect ratio is altered in order to fill the screen. This really shouldn't happen in my opinion as it skews the image, making it appear quite odd. As best I can tell, there's no way to avoid it. I realize there's another request to manually adjust the image size, which is one potential way of dealing with the issue. This request instead addresses the underlying problem. I will trust the developers to come up with the best way to fix it!

Current the whole email window would be brought to the foreground which is quite unnecessary. I wish it can be changed to only show the draft window so I can get back on my work immediately after finishing sending the email.

It would be nice, if one can switch off the bottom menu bar. Because I do not want AI at all and I already have a calendar (CalDAV). So the bottom menu bar is useless for me and takes unnecessary space on the display. The search function can be moved to the top. Maybe you can implement a switch in the settings. Thanks

Sorting emails by sender is, own my opinion, a basic function of every email client. It helps to sort through emails quickly and clear unwanted emails or move them to folders. I find it amazing that Canary Mail does not have this feature. It is also noted that Canary Mail's own website promotes sorting emails by sender (https://canarymail.io/blog/manage-and-organize-emails/): 'Group by the sender: Another way to organize your inbox is by grouping messages from specific senders together. This can be particularly useful if you work with a lot of different people and want to quickly find messages from a particular colleague or client.' So, why is this function not there?

You can set it up for mails with the condition that only sends you a reminder if they dont replay or send a reminder even if they replay

Please add "✓ Read" in the correspondence window next to each email address (To: - Cc: - Bcc: ) separately.
