Signing and encrypting e-mails using S/MIME is common practice in the business world. So in order to get useful in a business environment, an e-mail client should support S/MIME.

Please add "✓ Read" in the correspondence window next to each email address (To: - Cc: - Bcc: ) separately.

There are many people using Linux, it would be convenient to have the crossover, between say, android and Linux, as there is with Windows and Canary mail.

Threaded view should default to displaying the other participant(s) as the thread label, matching non-threaded behaviour, or provide a simple toggle allowing users to choose between “Last sender” and “Correspondent” as the primary label. Most other clients label the correspondent is the primary identifier as standard so would benefit anyone moving over.

You can set it up for mails with the condition that only sends you a reminder if they dont replay or send a reminder even if they replay

Out of office replies would be very useful when OOO. This is an important feature for those using Canary for work.

Showing account colours only adds a very thin bar the the side of the email in the inbox. It doesn’t really help that much. I’d like to see this bar a bit bigger and in the left hand side next to the avatar to increase visibility.

Read receipts is helpful when on but I receive a push notification (vibrate and noise) whenever the email is read. It would help to rather be able to turn off the notification for this feature and allow us to look back and see if it is read without the notification tone and buzz as an option. The problem that this causes is that when I feel the buzz of this notification it makes me think I have a new email rather than the app just telling me that the email was read...

Markdown Formatted Emails It's becoming the defacto universal standard for formatting text across the web. Github-styled Markdown including extensions such as KaTex and MermaidJS would be great to use for emails to safely contain diagrams, formulas, and code. Links such as this one to Github's Markdown CheatSheet. It was easy to use for formatting this message.

A compact view would greatly improve usability for professionals working on smaller screens or in multitasking workflows. It should reduce spacing, shrink font sizes, and allow for a multi-pane layout that conserves vertical space—similar to how Outlook condenses messages and folders. This would make the app feel more efficient and business-friendly.

Make it possible to personalize the AI Copilot by customizing its name, role, and the rules and instructions it follows. For example, you can create the following rule: Your name is Jon. You are a professional Financial Advisor. Start your response with a friendly greeting using the recipient's name (e.g., "Hi [Name],").Thank them for their inquiry (e.g., "Thank you for reaching out about your investments.").Provide tailored financial insights related to their specific questions, referencing the knowledge base for accurate information.Invite further questions (e.g., "Feel free to ask if you need more assistance.").End with a professional sign-off (e.g., "Best regards, Jon").

To help combat phishing, I would like to have full email address visible all the time, not just the "friendly name". It's too easy to be lulled into a sense of security without seeing the full email address.

It would be great to create a personal Knowledge Base for AI Copilot, so AI can pull up useful information from that base and include it in response emails. Is it a flat fee, hourly rate, or commission-based?How can you help me with retirement planning? Of course, you can spend hours crafting personalized responses to each question for every client. But why not let the AI Copilot do this for you? It can easily pull the information from the Knowledge Base you set up with your own notes, text files, etc. Meanwhile, you can focus on what you do best—making money!

I have multiple accounts that I use mostly for spam and registering for accounts I'm not gonna use much - I don't want to see their emails in my main inbox as they're usually not what I'm interested in, but I'd still like quick access to them (which is why I have them added in Canary)

It would be helpful to have the text in the reading window auto wrap when the window is either resized or when the zoom level is changed in lieu of having to use the horizontal scroll bar to read emails.
